Wind and Water

The grasp and sweeping hand movements of Wind and Water Tui Na evoke the refreshing qualities of a gentle breeze brushing across water.

What is Wind & Water Tui Na?

Wind & Water Tui Na (Tway Nah) is a gentle variation of the classically vigorous Chinese Tui Na meridian massage. Developed by Brian O'Dea of Berkeley's Acupressure Institute, this soothing version of the technique relaxes and opens the muscles, joints and tendons by combining passive stretches with classical Chinese massage hand techniques, including the distinctive light strokes (tui) and nurturing kneading (na) that give this style of massage its name.
